About The Author

Mr. Michael Silver has been working in British schools for many years as a director of learning in Mathematics. As a director of learning, Michael has had years of knowledge, and thousands of first hand experiences dealing with the complex problems children face at school. He has seen the well able students turned into underachievers, a situation that can be avoided.

He has seen what he described as ‘common mischief’ in de-activating success among young children. He has worked with children of all ages and abilities and has transformed the lives of many young people.

Michael Silver believes that every child needs to be guided, motivated and nurtured well for excellence. Strategies contained in this book is aimed for maximising and preparing a child for success.
